Printers
For printing pictures, the choice is actually simple. You will need an ink printer.
Let me present the one I use, a Brother model MFC-J6530DW-
I like it cause it prints photos very well.
Also there is a scanner in the machine, and it works fine. When scanning you have the possibiblties to save the scannings as PDF directly onto a USB stick, or to a computer, And if you want it easy you can scan directly from your computer, using your chosen scanner software. I use "Document Scanner", which do the job as wanted. It will search for scanners on the network. And then you can manage the scanning, having some preference settings.
Also it can print out papers up to the size of A3 a big advantage in my opinion.
The color system is CMYK. Ink I find on Amazon, some compatible ones. Do a search as there are some where you get not just a container for the black ink, that is double sized, but where you even get two of them, in a package where the others are normal sized.
The only thing I am not fully satisfied with, is the quality of pure black colors. To me it has a tone of blue in it. And certainly not black as I want it. But this issue must be caused by the cheap ink I use.
But all in all I like this printer. And if I was to buy a new, I would buy the same.

Btw it can also be used as a FAX.
